Matthew Matt James was conceived in North Carolina, on the 5th of December 1991. He is the son of Manny and Patty James and is of mixed race. The father of Manny James is Nigerian and his mother caucasian American. In the year 2010, James graduated from Sanderson High School. Then, he went to Wake Forest University in order to earn a Bachelor's degree in Sciences in Economics. James was famous after the show The Bachelorette as a reality TV star. In the year 2020, he was selected to play the role of bachelor for The Bachelor's season 25, becoming the only African American male lead which will premiere in 2021. James is the perfect candidate for the job, as he is well-rounded tall, athletic and has a good sense of humor. The season concluded when he chose Rachael Krkconnell as his choice to begin an affair with the actress. He teamed up with the famous dancer Arnold to compete in the 30th season of Dancing with the Stars. James as well as Arnold placed 12th.
